Baby blueberries
When we bought this house a third of the backyard resembled The Secret Garden. We are still not finished with it, but it took 18 months to get to the point where we felt like it was a clean slate. By far our favorite "secret" from the backyard was the blueberry bushes. Last year my tiny berries were zapped by the late freeze in April. If Jack Frost will scoot on out this year my bushes promise to more than make up for last year's losses.

Yay for fresh blueberries. Oh my gosh, I am counting down the months.
Cool! I need to plant some... one day. I'd love to get my act together and have a garden of sorts.
Hey, nice to see you posting again... you've been missed!
Sorry to heckle you so much! But, hey, that's what friends are for! :)
Fresh blueberries? What bliss! Picking blueberries conjures up the best memories of my grandmother's house in rural south Georgia. She has the most magnificant bushes. We planted some at our old house on Granade Street. I wonder if they are still there. Hmm...you have me thinking. Maybe we should plant some here.
